Hart: Seniors, Now's the time to sign up for Rx Discounts

Washington, DC-Congresswoman Melissa Hart would like to inform seniors that cost-saving medical benefits will soon be available and that there are resources available for the purpose of enacting these benefits.

Hart said," For far too long, seniors have been carrying the burden of paying high prescription drug costs with no relief measures in sight.

But thanks to a recently signed law, Medicare will now provide drug discount cards to all seniors who need them. These cards, while completely voluntary, will be made available to seniors who enroll beginning on June 1st. Low-income seniors are also eligible for a $600 credit to help pay for their medicines," she concluded.
